GODS Lounge

I come from a staunch Pentecostal background. We had services probably 7 days per week. We didn’t have a building with fancy lights, excellent sound and instruments. On a Sunday we had church in a School class room and during the week we had services in someone’s house.

And I explicitly remember my very first encounter with the Lord. We sang an Afrikaans song called “Ons kyk weg na die Hemel” That was my time and my encounter. I was gone for what felt like hours and my life was forever changed

I’ll always remember that day because someone’s lounge became “GODS LOUNGE”

Many years later myself and Kim- Lynne J own a coffee shop and we created a section within the coffee shop we call “GODS Lounge” where we’ve started hosting Worship Sessions.

Our hearts desire is that God would touch someone’s life radically for Him just like He touched mine in someone’s Lounge, who said. Not my Lounge anymore but have your way God. For this is your Lounge. This is GODS LOUNGE
